Products and Services

TELER products and services support the TELER method of clinical note making, and help health and other professionals to deliver treatment and care of the highest possible quality by providing them with the data needed to obtain job-satisfaction, to develop a framework for logical reasoning and continuing professional development, and to achieve a high level of legal protection.

Four TELER products are available for use under licence.

Three TELER services are available for hire.

TELER Products

A licence to use one of the products listed below is obtained by registering as a TELER user. Information about registration is given in the Licence page. The registration fee is given in the TELER Price List page

TELER for Collecting Patient Data
The method of collection measures the outcome and effectiveness of the treatment received by a patient. The findings are given in a Patient Report. The TELER Excel Spread sheet is the software version of the method.

TELER for Analysing Patient Data
The method of analysis measures the outcome and effectiveness of treatment delivered by a service. The data is obtained from the Patient Report, and the findings are given in the Findings from an Analysis of Patient Data.

TELER for Clinical Audit
The audit measures the quality of patient care. The methodology of the audit is based on the Donabedian triad of structure, process and outcome. The findings are given in the Findings from a Clinical Audit.

TELER for Analysing Clinical Trial Data
Used in conjunction with TELER for Collecting Patient Data, the method of analysis measures the outcome of a clinical trial. The findings are given in the Findings from an Analysis of Clinical Trial Data.

TELER Services

Any of the services listed below can be hired by completing and returning a TELER Service User Registration Form. To obtain a copy of the TELER Services User Registration pack complete a Request Form. The fee for hiring a service is given in the TELER Price List page.

TELER Data Analysis Service
The service is available to licensed users of TELER products who consider it cost effective to purchase the time needed to use a data analysis product.

The TELER Data Analysis Service is also available for hire by all candidates for MPhil and PhD degrees in health related areas who need help with the analysis of their data. There is no requirement that the data must be TELER data. However, access to the service is limited.

TELER Course Evaluation Service
The service measures the outcome and effectiveness of the education and training received by each participant on a short course. The service also measures the outcome and effectiveness of the education and training delivered by the course.The findings are reported to the Client in Findings from a Course Evaluation.

TELER Stress Assessment Service
The service measures the wellness of an employee using the signs and symptoms of stress, irrespective of the sources of the signs and symptoms. The findings are reported to the Client in Findings from an Assessment of Employee Stress. Employees found to be suffering a detrimental level of wellness are followed up to determine the sources of their signs and symptoms. The findings are reported to the Client in Findings from an Assessment of Workplace stress.

There is no need for a service to know the identities of a Client's data providers, and a service will not knowingly accept the identity of a data provider. There is a need for a service to be able to distinguish a Client's data providers from each other, and to be able to do so uses data provider identity codes provided by and known only to the Client.
